Give Our Bushland a Boost – Community Tree Planting Day

Sunday 21 June 2026 | 9.00am – 12.00pm
Riverpark, Richard Rushton Community Centre, Baron Way, Gosnells

Darling Range Wildlife Shelter is proud to support the City of Gosnells’ annual Give Our Bushland a Boost tree planting event by cooking the sausage sizzle for volunteers.

This year’s event will see 5,000 native seedlings planted, helping to restore local bushland and improve habitat for our native wildlife.

At DRWS, we see first-hand the impacts of habitat loss, fragmentation and environmental change on our native animals. Healthy bushland provides food, shelter, nesting sites and safe movement corridors for countless species, from birds and reptiles to insects and mammals. By restoring our local environment, we are helping to create healthier ecosystems and a brighter future for wildlife and biodiversity.

Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the entire morning, your contribution will make a real difference.
