Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at our shelter?
As part of Wild for Art 2026, Darling Range Wildlife Shelter is opening its doors for a very special series of small-group guided tours on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August.
Come behind the scenes and discover how our volunteers rescue, rehabilitate and care for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife. You’ll learn more about the wildlife that come through our doors, the work involved in preparing them for release, and the incredible contribution our volunteers make every day.
With groups limited to just 10 people per tour, this is a wonderful opportunity to see wildlife rehabilitation up close, hear from the people involved and learn more about the work of DRWS.
Tours will run throughout the weekend:
Saturday 15 August: 10.00am, 11.30am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm
Sunday 16 August: 10.00am, 11.30am and 2.00pm
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
